Study On The Diversity Of Seed Plant Resources In Hohhot City

Taking the city of Hohhot as the research area,flora geography principles was used to analyzes the seed plant flora composition through the data collection,field surveys,plant specimen identification and survey data analysis.The geographical distribution types of wild seed plants were analyzed from taxonomic grade of family,genera and species,and then compared with the genus flora of Inner Mongolia.And the resource types were analyzed according to the plant resource classification system.The results are as follows:There are 1243 seed plants(including species of subspecies)belonging to 92 families and 443 genera,among which there are 87 families,394 genera and 1123 species in wild plants;and 36 families,86 genera and 120 species in cultivars.Hohhot lies in the transitional area,whose plant species was relatively rich,and flora geographical was complex,and with low unique degree and vulnerability.The temperate components are absolutely dominant:55.56%,72.35%and 51.79%of the non-world components in families,genera and in species,respectively.And the herbage here was dominant plants.In water ecotypes,the mesophytes are most primary,as well as the xerophils,which means that the water condition is worse here.There are 699 kinds of plant resources has developed and used in Hohhot,which account for 56.23%of the total number of plants.Among them,protein and amino acid plant resources,medicinal plant resources,oil and vegetable resources and gardens,flower plant resources are rich plant resources,all of which accounting for more than 10%of the total number of resources.However,resin plant resources,sugar and non-sugar sweetener plant resources and rubber and hard rubber plant resources are extremely lacking,all of which are less than 1%of the total plant resources.And other plant resources reserves in general level.In order to provide a scientific basis for the protection and rational utilization of plant resources,the composition,geographical distribution and plant resources of Hohhot were studied comprehensively.
