In the 1990 s,with the rapid development of the Internet economy,the concept of business models is mentioned by scholars.But also be gradually applied from the general theory to the research of travel service.Business model is the basis for the survival and development of travel service,including the enterprise products,services and information flow.With the rapid development of China's economy and the continuous improvement of the tourism market mechanism,The choice of outbound tourists increased year by year,Outbound tourist market is also more and more attention by tourism enterprises.But at present,China's outbound travel products homogeneity,lacks individuality,Has been unable to meet the needs of the customer market,In addition,The development of China's outbound travel service is seriously threatened coupled with the gradual entry of foreign enterprises.This paper analyzes the domestic and foreign research literature,and the concept of business model,business model innovation,and outbound travel business model.This paper analyzes the factors of affecting the outbound travel business model.Carry on the classification to existing travel service outbound business models from three angles of business operations,corporate profits and industry chain.Combine with relevant cases and pointed out its problems,as well as evaluated its advantages and disadvantages.This paper takes “Tempus international” as an example to analyze the success of the transition from traditional travel service to O2 O and analyzes its current business models.Finally,combine with the problems of Business Model of Outbound Travel Service in china,and successful business model transformation case experience,puts forward countermeasures to improve the business model of travel service,outbound travel service must be further improved and upgraded on the integration of upstream and downstream resources,enterprise operation management,outbound tourism product development,service standardization etc.Welcome the great situation of China's outbound tourism,while improving the competitiveness against foreign enterprises.This paper mainly contains the following contents:Section 1: Introduces the research background,points out the research object,and analyzes the correlative results of domestic and foreign researches to determine research significance.Section 2: Explain the relevant concepts and analyzes the relevant theory,to lay the theoretical foundation for the paper writing,the factors affecting the outbound travel business models are analyzed in two aspects: customer demand and tourism products.Section 3: Carry on the classification to existing travel service outbound business models from three angles of business operations,corporate profits and industry chain.Combine with relevant cases and pointed out its problems,as well as evaluated its advantages and disadvantages.Section 4: Takes “Tempus international” as an example to analyze the success of the transition from traditional travel service to O2 O and analyzes its current business models.Section 5: Combine with the problems of Business Model of Outbound Travel Service in china,and successful business model transformation case experience,puts forward countermeasures to improve the business model of travel service.
