Study On The Effect Of Farmers' Participation In Agricultural Technology Model In Universities

Agricultural science and technology extension plays an important role in improving the conversion rate of agricultural scientific research achievements,which is the key to increase the competitiveness of agricultural development.Our country pays attention to agricultural science and technology innovation and the technology extension,repeatedly issued documents as policy support.Since “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”,China's investment in science and technology funds only after the United States,agricultural development has made great progress in a very large number of agricultural scientific research,science and technology contribution rate reached 56%,but still far below the conversion of foreign agricultural technology,there is “the last mile” problem between agricultural science and technology from the laboratory to the real field,and the direct reason is that existing agricultural science and technology extension is out of touch with the needs of farmers.The farmers as agricultural technology extension services audience,if farmers do not agree or even exclude agricultural science and technology,then scientific research is difficult to be applied to the production activities to promote the development of rural economy.From our country China's agricultural science and technology to promote the way,has been in use is the "top-down" promotion,the government developed what scientific research to promote what,did not take into account the needs of farmers.Which is caused by that reason is leading to the efficiency of agricultural science and technology in China and the transformation rate of scientific research achievements.Therefore,it is necessary to study agricultural science and technology extension service from farmers' perspective.This paper uses the literature induction method,the questionnaire method and the case analysis method before the empirical analysis.First of all,access to a large number of literature on agricultural science and technology extension services at home and abroad,to lay the theoretical foundation for the later research;And then design the questionnaire and follow the national soft science research project “agricultural science and technology extensionmodel research based on universities” task group to do the research on agricultural technology in Baishui county,the empirical analysis of farmers' behavior decision-making is carried out with 237 samples.This article is divided into six chapters.Chapter One is Introduction;Chapter two mainly combs the theoretical basis related to the popularization of agricultural science and technology;Chapter three: The typical case analysis of agricultural science and technology extension based on university,and explains the operation mechanism and popularization effect of Baishui test station;In the fourth chapter,the Logit model is used to analyze the influencing factors of behavior decision;Chapter five analyzes the influence of farmers' participation on their own apple income by means of Endogenous Transformation Regression model(ESR),and calculates the average treatment effect of participatory behavior;On the basis of the empirical results,the sixth chapter summarizes the research conclusions and puts forward some suggestions.The main conclusions drawn from this paper are whether the participation of cooperatives or other association variables and the degree of understanding of the test stations have a positive effect on farmers' participation in agricultural science and technology extension services,and obtaining information channel variables and distance variables from the test station are negative for farmers' participation in agricultural science and technology extension services.For those farmers who participated in the agricultural science and technology extension service,the per capita apple income of the participating households was significantly increased by 19.49% compared with those who did not participate in the behavior.According to the above contents,the following article propose some recommendations:to enhance the team building and establish the farmers demand-oriented concept of extension services,broaden the form of agricultural science and technology extension services,enhance the experimental capacity of experimental demonstration,vigorously promote the innovation-driven development model.
