| Nowadays,the Open Access movement is in full swing.Under such circumstances,the Institutional Repository based on the conception of Open Access is favorable to academic institutions owing to its new method of academic communication and publishing mode.In order to study the construction model of institutional repository in China,this thesis did a research from a new perspective on the construction model of Chinese universities,Chinese Academy of Sciences and business institutions respectively.By applying the methods of literature research,comparative study and case study,the thesis surveyed on the construction of many advanced universities in China,Confederation of China Academic Institutional Repository,and Institutional Repository Service Grid of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,as well as some commercial companies.Furthermore,the thesis sorted out the similarities and differences among the content construction,policy making and technology platform selection of the above institutions,thus figuring out the shortcomings of Chinese institutional repository construction model and trying to put forward corresponding suggestions. |
