The local media tried to construct and spread the image of Hangzhou city in its coverage of the G20 Hangzhou Summit,especially to spread the image of Hangzhou to the world.This article takes the coverage of the G20 Summit by the local media “Hangzhou Daily”,“Urban Express” and “Zhejiang Daily” as examples to count and analyze the data in the report.Through sample selection and category construction,statistical description and cross-analysis,based on detailed data,we have explored the characteristics of local media in the construction and dissemination of Hangzhou's urban image,that is,the image of people,landscape and management.At the same time,it also pointed out the existing problems,such as the delicate gap between the official and public opinion fields,and the imbalance in local media reports.Then it put forward the issue of reporting strategies.It is necessary to open up the mainstream media and the public opinion field,strengthen the interaction between the central media and local media,and create first-rate local media with international communication capabilities.
