The Development Status And Impact Of VR News In The United States

In recent years,VR technology is becoming a significant reach field of journalism,and gave birth to a new media form of VR news.While many domestic relevant practitioners do not understand the connotation,the production,distribution and industry chain of VR news,and face many problems in practice.Therefore,the research on VR news is crucial for domestic practitioners to have a better understanding of VR news,and to be better engage in practice.As American media organizations have more practical experience,this article choose to study VR news on the basis of American news media's practice.After gathering data from foreign news website,think-tank,online journals,it analyzes US VR news practice course via Comparative research method and literature research method.First,this paper summarizes the connotation of the VR news,its practice courses and the industrial chain;then from the perspective of journalism communication and management,with the help of PEST analysis model and theories of Journalism and Communication,this paper analyzes the opportunities and challenges for VR news;and then it summarizes the influence to the whole journalism;in the end,this paper tries to show the experience for domestic practitioners from hardware device,content quality,and transmission channels.
