Research On Capital Construction Project News Reports From The Perspective Of Media Convergence

Throughout history of the development of news & communication, every progress is inseparable from the development of the country and society. And the development of the society cannot do without the construction of various policies and infrastructure. Because of the infrastructural project is of great significance, the related news and information has always caused great public concern. More and more prosperous construction of our motherland lead in the era of Media Convergence. In the face of related news on infrastructural projects, there exists problems like:deficiencies of related technical knowledge on construction; news report lacking of depth in construction; casual and quick remark on construction significance and innovative information which people is concerned, as well as focus on flashy stunt. Meanwhile, in order to capture the public attention, media still exist frequent practices like new media exaggeration, fast and blindly pursuit of merits and virtues, etc. In this era of media convergence, it is a link of great importance that news people should devote themselves into the practice of country modernization construction for good report on infrastructure and best mass communication effects. Proceeding from journalism practice on infrastructure projects, this thesis aims to compare news deficiency related to the traditional infrastructure projects and the reform of news about construction in vision of media convergence; analyze the strategies on infrastructure construction news and problems which should be noticed in vision of media convergence. According to the analysis and features, the significance of this thesis is to explore the future practice road of construction news reporting which shows important practical significance on infrastructure projects to close to the people’s livelihood.According to the author’s study in undergraduate and postgraduate, this thesis combine journalism to civil engineering knowledge. Taking infrastructural projects’ news reports as research objects, this thesis analyses and researches the factors of the reporting perspective, reporting styles, and communication effects through such manners as document analysis,’cross-disciplinary research, comparative study, case analysis, questionnaire, etc.Simultaneously, it makes a comprehensive disciplinary viewpoint to analyze the features and deficiencies of the infrastructural projects’reports under the circumstance of Media Convergence. With the combination of development courses and cases on construction reporting, this thesis focus on corresponding issues on development and innovation in the context of media convergence, which primarily exist problems like numbers over-writing, commingled misleading information and stereotyped images. Meanwhile, taking questionnaire approach, this thesis design to analyze the communication effects of construction reporting, to seek out the countermeasures and the future direction of development, so that it can provide realistic path for best communication effects on reporting infrastructural projects news, enlarge connotation and denotation of infrastructural project reporting, consequently, it can play a good propaganda function of relevant news report, and laterally realize common development of national economic construction and cultural transmission.
