The Ministry of Education has issued a call for " vigorously promote the development of elegant art and traditional opera into the campus." Therefore,the "Drama into the Campus" activity has been vigorously carried out at all levels of schools across the country.The Peking Opera art,which is regarded as the Chinese national essence,is particularly valued.For children,it brings great benefits to accept the influence of Peking Opera art from at an early age,whether it will improve their artistic aesthetic qualities in a subtle manner,or plant the seeds of Peking Opera art in their young hearts.The children’s non-professional Peking Opera education discussed in this article is based on the fact that children in kindergarten and elementary school stage receive Peking Opera art education both inside and outside the school.The "non-professional Peking Opera Education" is different from the professional Peking Opera education aimed at cultivating professional Peking opera actors.Based on the theories of educational drama and children’s developmental psychology,this study combs and investigates the development process and current status of non-professional Peking Opera in China through literature and case studies,and analyzes the functions and values of non-professional Peking Opera education for children.Explore its important role in children’s aesthetic education,moral education,and intellectual education,and explore its educational value in guiding children’s love for Chinese traditional culture,enhancing children’s aesthetic appreciation,and cultivating children’s opera art.This article summarizes the current successful experience of non-professional Peking Opera education for children: integrating Peking Opera "Nianbai" teaching in Chinese language classes,teaching "Beijing songs" in music lessons,and performing "Do" and "Fight" in Peking Opera in physical education classes form.This article also incorporates the teaching cases of the children’s troupe in Xuhui District,Shanghai,and the author’s in-person teaching practice for children’s Peking opera education and training institutions to analyze the problems of nonprofessional Peking Opera education in terms of teachers,teaching resources,and educational methods.How to further develop children’s non-professional Peking Opera education in the future effective development strategy. |
