Peking opera is either one of China’s representative operas or thequintessence of Chinese culture, and enjoys a history of more thanhundred years, during which, it experienced both the periods of boomand declined, and also the revolutionary reform and innovation.Nevertheless, Peking opera art has been gradually away from thegeneral public, and even being forgotten in today’s social background.To enhance, inherit and develop such art, the Ministry of Educationissued the notice on Peking Opera Class for the Primary and MiddleSchool Students on February2008, which incorporated Peking operainto the music class of primary and middle schools.This paper, based on the theoretical research background ofPeking Opera Class for the Primary and Middle School Students,makes investigation and analysis on students’ learning proceeded fromthe teaching practice of Peking opera arias and by taking the sevenarias in the notice aforesaid from the author’s school as the example,while summarizes the issues existed in Peking opera classes foreffective teaching strategy research, and attempts to put forward thespecific opinions and suggestions. This paper is organized in following ways: Part1is theintroduction, which elaborates the selection reason, researchsignificance and methods; the next part discusses about the teachingpractice of Peking opera arias, in which, the author investigates andanalyzes the learning status of Peking opera of six-grade studentsfrom the school based on their understanding to Peking opera, operacultural environment of their families, as well as their knowledge onthe Peking Opera Classes; the paper, at the same time, makesteaching analysis to those seven arias, and represents teaching processof Peking opera classes by with the help of classical teaching plans,cases and the corresponding teaching assessment style as well; Part3focuses on the initiative of Peking Opera Classes, describing thedifficulties arising from teaching practice of Peking opera arias inmiddle schools, and seeks to give suggestions against the trackselection in Peking opera classes and how to make arias teachingpractice. |
