| AS the staple food of 1.3 billion Chinese people, to some extent, grain is the foundation of social stability of China, and grain related issues are always widely concerned. Especially for P.R.C, a country with dense population and without enough cultivated land, irrigation water and agricultural facilities, securing the grain production and circulation has profound meaning.Basing on the study of Xiamen Grain Purchase & Sale co.,ltd.(XGPS), whose main business is running Xiamen municipal contingency grain storage, this article provides unique perspectives on how to develop a Contingency grain storage enterprise and then ensure the grain supply on the municipal level.At the beginning,this article summarizes the background and meanings of the company's strategic research for development,depicts the progress of the strategic research, recommends the tools used for the strategic research and the latest worldwide achievements in the field,meanwhile,raises the thoughts and the logical frameworks of the research.Next, this article introduces the basic information of XGPS, such as the organizational framework,sphere of business and economic indicators etc.Adding to these information, this article uses the PEST method to analyze the political and economical environments which XGPS is in and all the available resources,including warehouse, human, technology, enterprise image, corporate culture etc.,XGPS can utilize.After that,by carrying on the SWOT analysis and applying the QSPM methods,this article systematically analyzes all the advantages & disadvantages,opportunities& threats which the XGPS is facing,then eventually make an strategic choice which is not only operable,but also focusing on the long term development and keeping with the real conditions of XGPS.In the final part,this article proposes the long term vision,mission,developing strategy and goals for XGPS. lastly, this article provides the detailed steps forimplementation of the strategies. |
