With the increasing of individual needs,flexible production model has been the best choice of most enterprises.However,there are some shortcomings of the products produced by this model with the characteristics of multiple varieties,small batch,great diversity as well as short delivery cycle,which has caused some difficulties in the manufacturing process of material distribution,storage and management.Therefore,how to solve the above problems currently has been the focus for enterprises.This paper chooses FMS material management system as the object of study and analyzes the shortcomings of the current material management system.It is found that because of the lack of effective real-time data collection and processing,distribution and management as well as tracking and monitoring,there are some problems that material data acquisition is not in time,the distribution management is not accurate and the process is not visible.So,with the project real needs of the project: flexible manufacturing automatic line of an enterprise,a FMS material management system is designed and implemented based on radio frequency identification devices(RFID).At the same time,the early development work of the system's software has been completed.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.With the shortcomings of the current material management system and the real needs of the enterprise project,general technological framework and function module of the system is designed and arranged.2.With the use of identification and data collection of RFID,a method of data collection and processing suitable for the logistics process of production is put forward.This method introduces the RFID technology into the processes of material distribution and management,using the electronic tag to mark and track the materials.And also,it collects the real-time data of the material distribution and processing through the RFID system.With the processing of the RIFD middleware,the effective material data is obtained finally,which can solve the problem of data collection.3.According to the core problem of how to carry out material distribution and delivery and inventory management of cache library,the research team of the project proposes the user-defined rule execution instruction.Then through disassembling the action of material distribution and delivery,defining the execution instruction as well as developing the corresponding interface,the material distribution and delivery and the upgrading of information driven by the instruction of upper reaches is realized.In addition,by using the database to establish the data model in the material cache library,the management of cache library is realized.4.Based on the above study and the support of the enterprise project,the early development work of the system's software has been completed.It mainly includes the design of system data tables,data collection,material management,monitoring,the tracking of product quality and information,as well as its communication with other devices,etc.
