In the enterprise supply chain management, material container management is one of the most important links. Material container flows throughout the preparation stage of suppliers, supplier delivery, material consumption, excess stock repel and containers recovery phase in the whole production process. Vessel center makes the periodic review on all the containers in inventory to count the number and record the location. This process involves much stuff: occupying more human resource, taking more time but still having a higher error rate. It really increases a large part of some extra cost to the enterprise and also this cannot meets the demand for the development of intelligentized factory. Therefore, according to the needs of enterprise development, using advanced technology to solve the problem of container intelligent management in the supply chain has become the urgent need of these enterprises.This paper intends to use RFID technology which is the key technology of Internet of Things to achieve intelligent management of supplier material containers. The system can reduce the time of material receiving, material inventory and excess stock repelling by using automation management of material containers. It will greatly reduce the investment of manpower and time and at the same time, it will reduce the error rate in the process of sorting.At first, this article introduces the Internet of things and the development of RFID technology and makes researches on status and the practical application of the RFID system. Then it carries on an on-the-spot investigation on Midea Central air conditioning Shunde factory and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of present situation of container manual management and cost consumption. After the survey, we acquire the actual business needs and make system requirements analysis on the material container intelligent management system which contributes to determine the technical solution of the system.In this article, it analyzes the system hardware program including reader-writer equipment selection, anti-metallic electronic label design, wireless network planning and hardware equipment installation projects. And it also makes analysis on the system software platform selection and safety performance, as well as the design of application software function module. Then it designs an experimental survey of system to test the functions and performance on the study of the material container intelligent management system, and actually run the test in the Midea Central air conditioning Shunde factory.According to the result of the test data, and after compared with the data when not using the system, it shows that the material container intelligent management system met the needs of the enterprise in function and the performance index has reached the system design requirements. In the process, it performs an obvious superiority of the system,greatly reduces the material receiving time, material stocks time, excess stock repel time,container recycling time, container inventory time and also reduce a lot of costs,improves the degree of the factory intelligent management, conforms to the enterprise development planning and demand. It tends to have a great practical value and a wide application prospect.At last, this article makes a conclusion and a further prospection on the subsequent problems for study and exploration direction.
