With the advent of digital communication era,the news media ushers in a huge revolution driven by the technological trend.The impact on news production is particularly worthy of attention.From the perspective of Pierre Bourdieu's field theory,the thesis discusses about the impact from media field reconstruction on news production in the context of media convergence,as well as how the revolution in news production profoundly affects the media industry and society.According to research,the field reconstruction is an important factor triggering the revolution in news production.It completely deconstructs the procedures of news production,models of content representation and the concept of news professionalism.In addition,it facilitates the advent of pan-media and indicates the potential crisis of social communication.First of all,the changes in social environment result in changes in elements and element capital.Subsequently,the media,clients,government,technology and communicators join the fight for capital.Since then,the relations between elements have changed and formed a new power pattern.Secondly,the changes in relations between elements and journalists' habits facilitate field reconstruction.In this context,the boundaries between different media fields disappear and become increasingly commercial.As a result,the media conducts comprehensive trans-boundary cooperation and starts to pursue economic benefits.The news production is open to the society and integrated with external forces from the society.In open news production,everyone acts as a transmitter and news changes into a participatory interaction,which completely reconstructs the traditional news production procedures and content representation models.Nowadays,production procedures have been “liquid-based”;the source of news is complete open;journalists assigned their editorial right;filter fails;information becomes leading;communication effect is uncertain.Moreover,communication contents are diversified,mixed-and-matched,broken,disorderly,experiential and game-style.Caused by the above-mentioned changes,communication anomie phenomena are severe.Correspondingly,news reversal,fake news,online rumors,news vulgarity and news defamation spring up in a succession,which cause unexpected shock to traditional news industry concepts,including the truthfulness,objectivity and values of news.With great changes of news production,communication subjects,news contents,news values and news validity become general,which ushers in the advent of a pan-media era.The pan-media symbolizes the post-modernization of information communication and indicates a potential social communication crisis.As the binary relation of communication reconstruct,humans no longer control technology.Instead,the technology controls humans in turn.As news humanism dies out,digital logic is covering humanistic care.With the emergence of post-truth,reason supremacy replaces collective revelry.As the modern natures of media including democracy,science and reason disappear,the media industry represents typical post-modern characteristics,including decentralization,anti-authority and fragmentation,which highly alienate the communication of social information.In fact,news media is the watchtower of our society.If we do not handle current communication anomie phenomena and post-modern media problems,our social order is at the risk of being out of control.It is thus necessary for us to reform our understandings and take active actions to find out solutions from the perspective of media quality,news journalism and subject construction.
