Today's development of computer technology is very rapid,and almost all aspects of our daily life are related to the Internet.At the same time,the combination of network technology and the automatic test technology is constantly subject to relevant industry people's attention.At present,the new direction of research in the field of instrument testing is about the automatic test markup language(ATML)standard,which is based on extensible markup language(XML)to standardize the related test information in automatic test system.The traditional automatic test system is mainly tested by instrument oriented mode,and the ATML standard is mainly oriented to the signal oriented test requirements,using the method of signal oriented to describe resource in test system is the core to realize the instrument independence,and making the automatic test system in the direction of currency becomes an universal may.This paper studies the architecture of signal oriented automatic test system software platform and based on the ATML standard,developing the automatic test system,putting IVI driver of the oscilloscope,signal generator and multimeter and so on to IVI-Signal driver,and programing to build a general automatic test system.The main research contents of this paper are divided into 3 main parts:(1)Study the standard of STD and ATML test description.The ATML standard defines a set of frames for describing signals,which is used to identify ATS related information such as the tested objects and test results.The function of the standard is to improve the universality and openness of the test system software,and the ability of interaction between software and hardware.(2)Studying the software drive of the instrument,such as the oscilloscope,the signal generator and the multimeter.The driving of these instruments is raised to signal level,and transform the original test methods for different instruments need different instrument control commands to the demand for related test signals.In signal oriented automatic test system,all kinds of measuring instruments can drive the tested module by driving,so that test data can be presented.Therefore,it is necessary to study the driving technology of instrument and equipment.(3)Studying the software structure and requirements of the instrument.Among them,the most basic functions are test function,input and output function,information exchange function and resource sharing function.Write software to identify the instrument,and let the software build a test system.
