With the development and maturity of Internet information technology,the penetration rate of new media gradually increased,combined with the in-depth development of urbanization,the new media as the representative of the mass media tentacles extended from the city to the countryside,farmers contact and utilization of new media,The role of new media in the rural audience is also more prominent,the role is more and more significant.However,in terms of China's situation,the total number of farmers in China accounts for about two-thirds of the total population,in the number of absolute superiority,the farmers of the media resources and occupancy is in an absolutely weak position.The arrival of the new media era has reversed the embarrassing and disadvantaged position of peasants being marginalized,and a series of problems have become increasingly prominent.This paper analyzes the data collected from the actual survey and use of the new media in the rural area of Pingxi Township,Tiexi District,Jilin Province,and analyzes the following parts:The first part,framed the survey of "new media" category,outlined the investigation of the basic situation and the actual implementation of the situation.The basic situation of the survey includes the basic natural situation and the general situation of politics,economy and society.The second part introduces the basic situation and research summary of the survey sample composition,the contact and use of the new media.The survey sample is composed of gender,age,education level,occupation and income.The basic situation of contact and use of new media includes five rates: possession rate,frequency of use,motivation,preference and functional cognition.The third part discusses the problems existing by the rural audience in the process of using and using the new media.The discussion mainly discusses the four aspects of reading habits,information dissemination,media literacy and electric business development.The fourth part,based on the problems found,summed up the response to the policy.Mainly from the national level,social level,the audience level of personal discussion.
