Represented by the Internet and mobile phones of new media is gradually influencing and changing people's life style and living habits,this not only embodies in the change of the urban residents,rural residents life are also affected.With the advancement of new rural construction,rural media intervention and share increase year by year.In the context of the new media development,rural residents of media contact and the demand of information are also changing.So through on-the-spot investigation and visit,explore the media contact situation of the present stage of rural residents has its practical significance.This thesis adopt the method of combination of questionnaire and case interview,to new media under the background of farmers media contact condition as the research target,selection of zhao country in hebei province Yang village as the research object,access to a wealth of data and first-hand information,to explore the development status quo of rural medium and farmers in the medium contact and the use of the new changes and new situations.Through the investigation and analysis to further refine understanding rural residents media contact frequency,media contact time preference and media contact motivation,content,and the effects of these changes to the rural,strive for a broader investigation through the survey research to provide a sample,so as to provide decision-making reference for rural development of dissemination of news,in order to promote the rationalization of medium structure in rural areas in China,promote the new rural construction.This thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is introduction,research significance,the research of this paper source,research content,innovation of related research theory and comprehensive statement.The second chapter is designed for the investigation and study,this paper mainly discusses the Yang family in rural village,the change of media development and the design of questionnaire,sample composition and questionnaire to collect,depth interview process.The third chapter is the presentation of the results of the investigation and analysis,is an important part of this thesis.For recycling questionnaire statistics and analysis,reveals the present young rural residents under the background of new media media contact new circumstances and new changes.First,a decline in rural residents of television ratings,mobile phones and the Internet as a representative of new media has become the people to be bestowed favor on newly;Second,rural netizens younger,focus on the entertainment applications,mobile phones more and more convenient function is gradually the villagers' life;Third,farmers more focus on local or provincial news and content,care and their production and living related information and content;Fourth,newspapers,magazines and other print media influence extremely limited in the villagers,and broadcast as a special media,in the rural society still has an irreplaceable position.In order to further clear and comprehensive analysis of rural residents at this stage of media contact condition,this article will Yang village residents are divided into four types of main audience,which clearly reveals the every kind of rural residents change and its special media exposure.The fourth chapter through the analysis and summary of the survey results,clear rural residents at present problems of media contact.First of all,through the analysis of survey data and interview results,found that the imbalance of rural residents on the media contact structure is serious.Secondly,different media contact population is obvious.Thirdly,the contents of a single and fixed media contact and play the media function of agricultural communication and not very good.Then puts forward three suggestions,first,the government should play the advantages of a variety of media communication in rural areas.In second,rural media should strengthen their own transformation and upgrading,as media content conforms to the rural audience tastes.Third,to further improve the rural audiences' media literacy at the conclusion part summarizes the development of media to rural social change and influence.
