With the progress of science and the continuous improvement of economic level, people in daily life more and more cannot do without the mass media. The mass media in the modern society as an unavoidable tool for information, whether in the vast minority rural areas has an increasingly profound impact? Under this background, rural women facing a conflict between the value of the mass media promoted and the belief of Islam.How to show the condition of they contact the mass media,it will be the primary research contents of this topic. In related research in the field of Journalism and Communication, the research on Hui rural female media contact condition is relatively small, hoping to contribute to the research of this field.In this paper,combining a variety of research methods, selection of Ning Xia Tong Xin County Ding Village as the study area, exploring the status of media contact of the Hui nationality women.Through the investigation, the author found that groups of respondents daily life has gradually been infiltrated by the mass media. Generally speaking, TV and mobile phone is the most contacting, they are the highest using rate of two kinds of media, especially mobile phone, most of the respondents showed a dependence on it. The traditional mass media——newspapers and broadcast at the edge position, their use rate far from their popularity rate. As a new medium ——in the local network has some popularity, but because of the constraints of infrastructure and economic level is not perfect, access to the Internet in the local computer family rarely, it is a kind of decoration and face. In addition, the author found that groups of respondents awareness of network is relatively low, many people only recognize computer entertainment function, unfamiliar with the practical function.This paper is divided into three parts except the introduction and conclusion:the first part,briefly introducing the study site, and analyzing the character of the samples; the second part, begins with an overview of the Hui village women living in the whole landscape, and then summed up the situation of media contact groups of respondents; the third part,based on the analysis and research of the contact status of the Hui village the female media, elaborated by the characteristics and influence factors of the behavior of media contact group visit.
