The audience in journalism and communication research as an important branch of research in mainland China in recent years, get a great development, as a special group of rural audience research has also become key. But the main focus on media contact behavior and media communication effect, for in recent years emerging media literacy, also very few will rural audience as the research object, rural audience media information processing capacity research is not. Rural audiences' media information processing power relations in rural audience whether and to what extent can use their cognitive ability and reflection of contact with the consciousness of the media information spread analysis and evaluation and to what extent can effective information for their own use media of production and life service. So, we must pay attention to the media literacy education of rural audience for them to develop, to improve media information processing capability of media literacy education mainly. This paper tries to answer the relevant problems of rural audiences' media has:the information processing capability basic present situation? Will the individual in a broader audience in the social background investigation is what factors contributed to rural audience media information processing power this current situation? Based on this, puts forward the measures to improve their mutually because the media information processing ability.
