The government information contains lots of social value and economic value.The United Kingdom,as the pioneer of the whole world,have built several policies in these years and put theories into practices.We can tell the huge improvement of government service capabilities through such information policies and social practice.It is obvious that government can become closer with the citizens and encourage them taking part into the routine tasks.Meanwhile,the government would improve the quality of all kinds' government decision from these supervisions and advices.So,we can see that reuse of the government data meet the actual needs,it can also achieve well interactions after government information opened.In China,government data resources are abundant,but few of them can turn into practical value because of lacking appropriate policies and regulations.Therefore,this paper will take UK as example to explore some ways for our open government information regulations and applications by studying their mature policies and several practices.This paper is going to summarize research background,the significance and foreign research status;then,it will focus on the policies,regulations and practices of UK open government information;after that,it will analyze deeply and try to find some advanced concepts and management mechanism.Finally,it put forward the effective measures,according to the current problems in China,: Establish corresponding laws and policies,the establishment of unified coordination mechanism and coordination organization,introduce the market-oriented competition mechanism,improve current supervisory mechanism of open government data and introduce reasonable charging systems.All of these mentions above are aim to improve the efficiency of government departments and our information industry.
