| With the development of media technology,the network communication environment become more and more complicated.Under this context,reversal news has been coming into the public view,and it has drawn heated discussion and caused the widespread concern from industry and academic circles.With the influence of participation and game-playing of multiparty force,the twists and turns of plot and an unexpected outcome form a reverse drama of news which is full of dramatic,and accumulate a great spectacle.At present,most of the studies regard reversal news as a static news phenomenon and analyze its causes,influences and avoidance strategies from practice level.However,the author regards “reversal news” as a dynamic process.From the angle of “gaze” and “operation of power”,the present study analyzes the formation of reversal news and the mode of spreading news in-depth analysis,and analyze the existing problems and propose some avoidance strategies.This thesis consists of the following six parts.The first part is an introduction of the study,which contains the background and origin,objectives,significance of this study and literature review;the second part introduces the conception of reversal news,and make an explanation for the theories of “gaze” and “discourse power”;the third part,through the cases analyses(dives into)the formation mechanism of the reversal news from the “gaze” perspective;the fourth part analyzes the mode of transmission of the reversal news through the results of case studies.And the propagation and evolution processes of two reversal news stories are analyzed and compared to dissect how the many discourse subjects prompt the simmering and reversal of news events and how the various power are operated;in the fifth part,the author rethinks the phenomenon of reversal news and puts forward the corresponding avoidance strategies.Meanwhile,correspondent countermeasures are proposed to guide the public opinion to reversal news;the sixth part is the conclusion of this study which makes a summary of the research and some reflections are put forward.Reversal news is the product of the “gaze” of multi-subject.In the formation of reversal news,the “gaze” of multi-subject is interwined and subject to their own way of “gaze” and influences the development of news events in subtle function.Besides,the transmission of reversal news is a dynamic process of right game,which reflects that the general public have the discourse power.The discourse power can be released and combined through network space and exerts pressure on the media's and governments' words and deeds. |
