Along with the development and popularization of computer technology and network information technology,the management of personnel department in colleges and universities is facilitated.The effective management of the college personnel departmentworkby using information technology,can ensure that the information is complete and accurate,achieve fast access to data,and implement the objective assessment for the teaching staff.By establishing and using the human resources management information system,personnel department can complete its daily work efficiently.Moreover,colleges and universities can improve their personnel department in a more standard and scientific way,and the standardized and scientific management of personnel department plays a vital role in the development of colleges and universities.In this thesis,the design and implementation of the human resources management system in colleges and universities were investigated.All functions of the management system were identified by following the design flow of software engineering and analyzing user requirements.A human resources management system based on B/S mode was designed and implemented for colleges and universities by using the techniques like ASP.NET and SQL Server.It has several functions,such as basic data management of staff,employment management,attendance management,payroll management,relationshipmanagement,bonus-penalty management of staff,and data query and statistical work of staff.All functional modules of the system were tested.The designed user interface has rational layout and is user-friendly.With the proposed human resources management system,the administrators of colleges and universities can master all kinds of data information about their staff more effectively,and the timeliness and accuracy of such data information can be also guaranteed.Traditionally,it is difficult to manage a large number of staff in colleges and universities,since they are from different backgrounds and present a higher turnover rate.The proposed system directly solves such difficulty,and improves the efficiency of personnel management.Furthermore,it can provide timely and accurate data for the leaders,thus promoting the development of colleges and universities.
