With the development of socio-economy and the progress of Science & Technology,a single production line has been unable to meet the needs of enterprises.Flexible automation production line has three advantages: simple structure,flexible assembly,safe and stable.Equipment be able to construct a flexible automation production line in a small workshop.By improve the flexibility of the production line,enterprises can increase productivity and get competitive advantage.So,more enterprise want a flexible automation production line.Normally,a flexible automated production line consists of a transport unit,a processing inspection unit,a sorting unit,a conveyor unit and a sorting storage unit.We elaborated on the process of building a flexible automated production line,and we introduced the application of flexible automation control technologies,and future prospects.Firstly,the system design scheme is determined according to the simulation environment requirements.The process control and monitoring of the system is realized by using PLC,MCGS and CC-Link.Then,the overall design of the flexible automation production line was completed.In the hardware,we use I / O distribution table and PLC,and drive mechanical operation by pneumatic control system.In the software,we use PLC control technology to control the system,and completed the design of the overall system software,the sub-unit software,the initialization program and the emergency management system.Finally,we complete the monitoring and networking design of the system.We use the MCGS industrial control configuration to achieve the system remote operation,and real-time monitoring.This approach makes it easy for the staff to oversee the entire production line.We built the control network system by one Mitsubishi Q series PLC(Q01CPU)and five Mitsubishi FX2 N series PLC(FX2N-48MR/FX2N-48MT)and CC-Link communication module(FX2N-32CCL).The control network system uses the CC-Link network for communication.Experiments show that the flexible automation production line constructed is simple to install,the system is arranged reasonably and the operation is safe and stable,and it can be used to increase or decrease the equipment according to the actual needs.It has good flexibility and has good reference value for the application of flexible automation technology.
