Analysis And Design Of The Control System Of Flexible Production Line Of Workpiece Sorting

With the rapid economic and technological development,people's demand for desirable functions and improved quality of products is always rising and the rate at which new products flood the market is getting faster.The complexity of products is increasing,the level of automated manufacturing production line is rising.The diversification of product function has put forward more requirements to the flexibility of production line hence raising the level of the control strategy,the design of highly flexible production line has become an important problem.Production line control network structure based on field bus is mostly applied because it makes possible the realization of advanced motion and process control of the manufacturing process in the flexible production line.Among other desirable features are that;it is safe,stable,employs image processing,makes application of robotics and it also allows information interaction.This paper propounds the design of a control system of a flexible production line whose core controller is B&R CP1586 PCC,It has excellent performance and powerful processing capabilities with a cycle of up to 200 microseconds.In this paper,the control system of flexible automatic production line,based on PCC and POWERLINK Ethernet,is studied.The research on the flexible production line also includes the study of the design theory,the optimal control system design,module design and implementation with the aid of a control system model developed in a MATLAB/Simulink software environment.The design of the control network architecture is based on POWERLINK bus control network structure,the POWERLINK network configuration execution and program design and testing;The programming,testing and monitoring of the flexible production line is implemented in the Automation Studio integrated industrial automation software.The experimental results show that the control system of the flexible production line of workpiece sorting has the advantages of stable operation,fast response and high precision.
