In recent years, the construction and application of domestic network is growing by leaps and bounds. Traditional network management system (NMS)based on C/S architecture is no longer adapted to modern network management technology because of poor flexibility, upgrade difficulties and other defects. In order to maintain good condition of network, new NMS based on B/S architecture become the development trend because of advantages such as cross-platform, easy to operate and be extended. Configuration management is a core module in NMS, so how to combine key technologies with new Web emerging technology is worthy of in-depth research and discussion.To solve above problem, this paper studied several key technologies in configuration management. First, put forward the SNMP timing and real-time information acquisition method, implementing information backup periodically and automatically. Second, present a cross-platform, real-time two-way communication framework based on WebSocket to get rid of the dependence of client software. Third, design inspection scoring algorithm about ping delay time,packet loss rate and connectivity status. Fourth, propose the performance optimization scheme including page level and code level.Also, this paper finished the design and implementation work of configuration management module applying key technologies above. The result shows that key technologies not only break through the bottleneck of NMS, but also has a strong advantage in front end performance. Therefore, the research of key technologies will make great difference in the NMS future.
