In recent decades, with Uncooled Infrared Focal Plane Array (UIRFPA)as the core components, the infrared imaging technology is rapidly developing, Due to the advantages of non-refrigeration, less volume and weight and low cost which has a broad application prospect in the military, civil and other application. The UIRFPA is composed of the infrared focal plane array detectors and read-out integrated circuit (ROIC), which ROIC is an important part of the infrared focal plane array detector signal processing system. As one of the key technology of UIRFPA, ROIC directly restricts the performance of UIFRPA.Firstly, the operating principle of uncooled infrared focal plane array (UIRFPA) is demonstrated in this paper. According to the design requirements of the 128 x 128 unit uncooled infrared focal plane junction type detector array, the paper expounds the scheme of the read-out integrated circuit. A row queue timing control circuit is designed for the array to read sequentially in series. Then, the logic synthesis analysis and timing analysis of the circuit are carried out with the digital backend tool and the digital layout is obtained.Secondly, based on SMIC 0.18?m 1P6M CMOS process, A Gm-CTIA structure is designed for its weak voltage signal output. The folded cascade CTIA structure is used instead of the traditional two stage operational amplifier CTIA structure to amplify the magnitude of the electrical signal. At the same time, the key circuit also includes buffer circuit, sample and hold circuit, output drive circuit and reference source circuit. It introduces the design process of each module of circuit in detail and gives the corresponding simulation results, and analyzes the simulation results.Finally, Cadence IC5141 Virtuoso tools and Spectre tools are used to complete the key circuits of layout, layout verification and post-simulation to verify the circuit design.The circuits implements the amplification, sampling and output of the weak voltage signal.
