Modern ultraviolet (UV) detecting technology has become an advanced comprehensive technology, including optics, solid-state micromachining technique, UV detector, integrated circuits, and so on. UV detecting technique is broadly used in civil and military fields in virtue of low ratio of error alarm, high concealment capability and good resistive performance to electromagnetism disturber, and has become one of the most important development directions in image technique domain.Ultraviolet (UV) focal plane array (FPA) system is mainly made up of three parts: UV detectors array, readout integrated circuit (ROIC) and signal processing circuit. ROIC is a bridge in UV FPA system uniting UV detectors array and signal processing circuit. The author has read many latest corresponding materials at home and abroad, and has got a general view of the state of arts of UV FPA based on the analysis in details and understanding of the state of arts of usual CMOS readout IC technique for FPA. Compared with characteristic of each circuit structure, some improvement has been put forward aiming at UV detecting specialty in order to extend input dynamic arrange of CMOS readout IC for UV FPA. The main results are as follows:1. The parameter of capability and kinds of circuit structure for FPA readout IC have been detailedly analyzed, then characteristic of each circuit structure has been compared with.2. The three parts of unit readout IC including capacitor feedback transimpedance amplifier (CTIA), correlated double sampling (CDS), buffer output amplifier are designed. And simulated results are obtained. Some improvement is achieved in the circuit in order to solve the problem of UV detector's small photon current.3. A driving signal source circuit has been projected to meet the need of the 16×16 UV FPA readout IC composed of unit ROIC. Adjusting neatly of integral time and data output time is come true by using the method of digital circuit design.4. Lastly, all kinds of noise in FPA readout IC are discussed roundly in this thesis. A CDS structure has been found by comparing two types of CDS circuit structure, and can weaken the noise of UV FPA readout IC.
