Archives environment directly affects the archives management efficiency, quality,service life and so on. Due to the randomness of the warehouse environment, poor real-time security, large scale, decentralized monitoring, low integration, the limitation of the traditional manual measurement environment, unable to provide remote viewing and management, lead to low control efficiency. In view of the above problems, this paper designs an environmental monitoring and management system based on serial port and Ethernet from the point of view of the Internet and the Internet of things.This paper mainly designed based on the C # language archives room environmental monitoring and management system of the host computer software part. The system uses modular design and C/S design mode, Networking equipment, information technology as the carrier. The host computer is connected with the slave computer by serial port conversion module. By using Modbus-RTU protocol communicate with the lower computer,collecting the environmental parameters of each warehouse area monitoring equipment, to achieve a centralized and unified monitoring of the various areas of the warehouse, and use SQL Server database as a medium to achieve data storage and processing. The Socket programming technology is used to communicate with the remote Web server through Ethernet, and the environment parameters can be uploaded in real time, so that the data can be shared. All data analysis, processing, forecasting and other means are used to reach the purpose of early warning and forecasting. Automatic control strategy is used to achieve the purpose of real-time intelligent monitoring system.The system can simultaneously monitor multiple areas of warehouses, upload data to the server for remote users to view and real-time monitor temperature and humidity,ozone, dust and other environmental parameters and the equipment status. Technicians through real-time display interface, to monitor the scene area of the environment at any time. Through the history query interface can browse the historical environment parameter records, generate statistical reports, to print reports and other operations. By looking at the yearly, monthly, and daily trend curve users can view the data intuitively.Through analysis the environmental records and alarm records comprehensively, to set the control strategy. When the warehouse environment parameters are abnormal,the system automatically starts the alarm mechanism to control the alarm for achieving archives environment automatically monitoring. The intelligent management of the archives environment overcomes the shortcomings and the inconvenience of manual management,which reduces the workload of managers and realizes the real-time,safe and effective protection of archives environment.Finally,through the testing,the system is stable,real-time high,simple and practical,leading to achieve the archives real-time intelligent monitoring and control purposes.
