Safety monitoring and archives management of secret places are widely used in all kinds of business of enterprises, institutions, government agencies and police departments, which are related with the safety of classified archives and devices. At present, the traditional security monitoring systems have disadvantages in complicated wiring, poor association between devices, high labor costs and other issues. Besides, there exists a big problem of the huge cost of manpower resource in archives storage registration and inventory. The application of the Internet of Things(IO) makes archives management and safety monitoring more intelligent and improves the security of secret places.In this paper, we will start from the demand of safety precautions and archives management of secret places, and make use of the Internet of Things to design and implement an intelligent monitoring and archives management system. Based on Zig Bee, RFID, intelligent information processing technology and embedded operating system, the system in this paper has functions such as access authentication, process monitoring, intrusion detection, linkage alarm, archives and devices management etc. The system provides a solution to the security monitoring and management for kinds of secret places.To improve the complex wires and poor connection among devices in traditional security monitoring systems, a wireless sensor network based on Zig Bee is built in this paper. The doornodes, secret cabinet nodes, monitoring nodesand master nodes are designed with a collection of various types of sensors based on the CC2530 hardware module. All functional nodes communicate with each other through the wireless sensor network, making all sensitive facilities interconnect and trigger mutually to realize the safety management in secret places.In order to deal with the problem of the huge costs of manpower resource in archives access registration and inventory, this paper design an automatic archives storage processing algorithm based on ultrahigh frequency RFID technology. Each time the user store or remove the archives with electronic labels, the system can detect the type of these archives, which achieve the innovative function of automatic registration of archives storage or remove. Also the system can count on all archives in the secret places expediently.The test shows that the system can solve some problems of the traditional system and can improve the performance. In a word, this system can make the secret places more safety and bring some novel ideas to monitoring secret places and managing archives.
