As the base of storaging the important information of nation and people,archives bear the main work of the construction of Chinese archives and are closely linked with people's lives.According to incomplete statics,China now has more than 3,000 various types of archives at all levels,and the total archives construction area of more than 400 million square meters.Because of the variety and quantity of archives and the environment requirements for different types of archives are not the same,it's very urgent to design a archive environment monitoring system to meet the need of different types of archives.Based on the above requirement,this paper designs a remote archives environment monitoring system based on B/S mode.The system uses the PC in the archives which through the RS485 bus to obtain the environment data in the archives which is collected by the lower position machine sensor,and saves the data to the local database.At the same time,through the wide area network,the data which is packaged into JSON format collected by the lower position machine will be sent to the monitoring center of the WEB server through the Socket Network Programming Technology based on TCP/IP.Monitoring center will analyze the data of each sensor to determine whether the sensor data exceeds the threshold,and then to determine whether there is a dangerous situation to achieve real-time alarm.After the data is saved to the database,the administrator can log on the system at anytime and anywhere through the browser to view the environmental data and alarm information of the archives,and then takes the necessary measures according to different situations.The system enables the environmental monitoring system to access to the network which is limited to a single warehouse or building.The system is an open network monitoring system.Compared with the traditional archival room environment monitoring system,the system has the characteristics of real-time,reliability,security,scalability,platform independence and so on.The system reduces the cost of labor,improves the efficiency of early warning,and achieves the automation,information and network management of the warehouse environment.The system uses the B/S structure mode.The overall design is divided into two parts,one is the display of the front-end interface,the other is the building of the background server.The background server uses Java as the programming language,Tomcat as the Web server,and MySQL as the database server.Front-end uses JSP technology to display the user interface,and uses DIV + CSS design page layout.After having the system test and having a long period of uninterrupted operation,the overall system is stable and the functions are normal.The intented design purpose has been achieved.In addition to the functions of a remote archives environment monitoring system,it also has the function of informing the administrators of dangerous situations in warehouse such as fire and power failure through voice,mail,etc.
