Therefore, for the security of the archives is the most influential work in the archives.Currently, many important data and references still stored in the archive in the form of paper, research shows that the key to protecting paper archives lies in promoting its durability, and the key factor affecting the durability of paper archives is mostly the environment of the Archives Storehouse, the factors of temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, dust, ozone and so on in the environment Would absolutely affect the preservation of archives. For the hysteresis, inefficiency and other shortcomings of archives storehouse’s management, at the base of a broad range of market research, we raise a set of a feasible solution and specific implementation measures about Archives Storehouse Intelligent Real-time Monitoring System in platform of Visual Basic 6.0. The system centralize the functions of index monitoring, disinfection and sterilization, fire prevention, report printing, real-time alarm, intelligent control at a same platform, The realization of this design will improve the efficiency of storehouse management and allocate resources reasonably, as a consequence, make the development of archives can get rid of the disadvantages of traditional management, keep up with the pace of The Times development.The paper begin with research direction and goal and then show what will be done. Part 2 shows the design and architecture of the system the overall architecture of the system in detail, analyzes the working process of the system and all indexes of monitoring strategy, and gives a brief introduction of the development platform for the system. The third part analyzes Archives Storehouse Intelligent Real-time Monitoring System’s all function modules, then gives the corresponding code. The system’s design adopts the thought of modularity, the whole function modules is: communication module, parameter setting module, real-time data display module, real-time alarm module, outputting curve module, the user login module, the intelligent controlling module. The fourth part analyzes the communication mode between the system and the hardware equipment, and introduces the design of communication protocol in detail. The fifth part explains the result of testing and debugging, the result shows that this system has the following characteristics: real-time, stable, precise and highly intelligent. At the end, summarize the whole paper, and prefigure the next work.
