The development of multimedia and communication technology has promoted the wide application of High Definition Video(HDV)in security monitoring,aerospace,telemedicine and other fields.HDV source devices in these applications use different compression coding standards and interface,which makes video source equipment and computer data interaction very complex.In view of the above problems,this paper designs and implements the software and hardware scheme of H.264 HDV TS stream(Transport Stream,TS)based on Universal Serial Bus(USB)interface,and realizes the HDV TS stream interaction with computer through USB interface.At the same time,the mentioned can analyze and play video.First of all,the paper introduces the evolution of HDV transmission and its problems.On this basis,this paper conducts a further study of H.264 HDV theoretical technology,which based on the USB interface.The theoretical technology includes H.264 video streaming TS packaging technology and USB bus technology.And this paper puts forward the design goals of the system according to the above theory.Secondly,the hardware and software requirements of the HDV TS transmission system based on USB interface is analyzed and the hardware control scheme of the system equipment side is designed,including USB interface sending data and USB interface receiving data modes,namely USB sending data to SPI and SPI sending data to USB interface.Meanwhile,it divides different functional module of these two modes.Every mode contains three functional modules,namely USB device function chip module,rate matching module and format conversion module.And then,it designs and implements the detail scheme and main interface of the sub-module in the function module.Thirdly,after analysing of frame function of the USB function chip CY7C68013 A,the firmware program of the system is designed to realize the communication connection between the USB function chip and the hardware peripheral circuit of the system equipment.Then,the key technology and the functional requirements of the platform control software is analyzed,which HDV TS based on USB interface transferring on PC side.Taking complexity and fluency of the software realization into consideration,the development environment of the TS platform control software is determined.Meantime,the bottom of the data transceiver,TS stream information analysis,and TS stream decoding and playing are described and designed in detail.Finally,this paper completes testing and verification of software and hardware on the FPGA development board with the USB function chip CY7C68013 A based on the two key technologies of the system.The test results show that this paper designs a high-speed and reliable transmission system of a large amount of HDV TS stream transmission based on the USB interface,and the system is versatile and can support the TS format for any compression formats.
