With the development of information technology,information literacy has been a basic skill for life,learning and communication.Every country attaches great importance to the students' information literacy.States not only made the evaluation indicator system of students' information literacy,but also further studied information literacy assessment practice and had developed mature evaluation index system and evaluation system,whichhas guiding significance for the cultivation of information literacy.Compared with the developed countries,our country is lack in the aspect of evaluation study about information literacy.The current evaluation index of information literacy for students has not yet developed an authoritative evaluation system.The evaluation of information literacy still stays in the traditional method to some extend.This paper that based on the domestic status quo of information literacy evaluation,develops the evaluation index of information literacy for high school students,designs and develops the assessment system of information literacy for high school students,which could collect data by online questionnaire,and generate the visual assessment,which might provide support for the education administrative department to make education decisions about information literacy.This research adopts the methods of literature research and expert investigation to study.By studying abroad about information literacy evaluation index system,connecting with the domestic research status and consulting experts,this research developed the evaluation indicator of information literacy for high school students,which is divided into 4 primary indicators and 14 secondary indicators.About the evaluation practice research of information literacy,this research has carried on the investigation and analysis for the domestic and foreign evaluation platform or system of information literacy.On the basis,the research processes demand analysis,function design and non-functional design,and adopts B/S model as a system service,WNMP as system architecture,PHPDa as back-end framework,HTML + CSS + JavaScript as a front end language,finally realizes evaluation system of information literacy for high school students.After that,test the system from the compatibility,function and performance and deploy the system.The evaluation system of information literacy for high school students consists of user management,question bank management,questionnaires management,test and assessment.This system collects data by using online questionnaire,and generates visual assessment report automatically,which could view overall scores of information literacy,primary index scores and secondary index scores and rankings contrastively.The education bureau of Wuzhong of Suzhou used the evaluation system of information literacy for high school students to test the level of information literacy for the students from 7 high schools,and generated the visual report of information literacy evaluation.The system can meet the demand of assessment of information literacy for high school students.
