With the gradually increasing development of Software Radio Technology (SDR), the realization of wideband digital channelized receivers is established and accomplished by many engineers. However, facing with the increasing deterioration of the electromagnetic environment (EME) during the intelligent and electronic warfare (IEW), the full-probability capturing of signal in the duration of monitored bandwidth,which is in the sophisticated electromagnetic environment (EME), becomes a significant index to evaluate the capability of digital channelized receivers. Compared with the traditional analog receiver, the higher resolution,wider dynamic range (DR), greater sensitivity (SENS), and stronger electromagnetic immunity (EMI) can be realized by digital receiver. In general, it is obvious that the investigation of the digital receiver is significant to improve the standard of electronic warfare (IE W).This paper introduces the digital channelized receiver systems and relative techniques.Also, a thorough study that based on the methodologies of digital channelized receiver can be accomplished. In addition, a poly-phase filtering structure which is fit for the hardware implementation can be derived with vast of literature reviews. With the completion of digital channelization,this project will expands to explore the methods for direction finding and distance measuring (DF) of the wideband signal, and the design for tracker of radar. After that,the completed theoretical model can be simulated by MATLAB software and accomplished in hardware platform (PLC).There are several components contained in this project:1.The discussion and analysis of methodologies for wideband digital receiver are carried out firstly. Based on vast literatures that relative to the digital receivers, several fundamental theorems are established and implemented, which are band pass sampling theorem,multiple-speed processing theorem, and poly-phase filtering theorem, so that it can be inferred that the high-efficiency digital channelized model can be easily realized in the hardware platform. In addition, the theoretical model should be verified by simulation. After that, the measure methods of frequency are respectively analyzed in CORDIC algorithm and instantaneous phase measure methods of frequency and simulated relatively. Finally, the direction finding method of wideband signal and mechanism for tracker of radar should be emphasized.2.the paper introduces the design of the hardware platform for wideband digital channelized receivers and the block diagram for this system. More specifically, each modules of the hardware platform have corresponding specifications that involve the construction of peripheral circuit and matching of chips. Meanwhile, the instructions for PCB routing also need to be considered.3.he software design for realization of this system is listed and introduced. In detail, the simulations for each functional modules are interpreted and the final simulation results are obtained.4.In general, the performance testing for wideband digital channelized receiver is completed and the final testing results can be displayed.
