Design And Implementation Of Plotting Data Management System Based On WebGIS

Military Plotting play an important role in warfare,organizational training and various tasks.At present,Military Plotting using computers has been applied.But,most of them are implemented with the Desktop Geographic Information System(GIS)based on the traditional C/S architecture.In recent years,with the development of computer technology and modern Web technology,GIS and the modern Web technology combined to produce Web GIS,which has become one of the most popular research hotspots.It has a greater advantage in the system cost,compatibility and many other aspects,compared to traditional GIS systems.In this thesis,we designed and developmented a plotting data management system based on Web GIS to solve the problem of the company.This system implemented a variety of functions that include plotting military targets on the map.In this thesis,we introduce the design and implementation process of plotting data management system in detail.First of all,we study the theoretical and technical basis of building the system.The knowledge includes the definition of Web GIS,the structural model of building the Web GIS system based on Web service,the technology about getting map services with Arc GIS Server,Arc GIS API for Java Script and Dojoprogramming language.Secondly,we analyze the system requirements in detail,and then achieve the overall design of the system and the detailed design of the functional modules.Last of all,we study the development of Dojo custom widgets,and then designe and develope the Dojo widget for each function module.By combining all these widgets,we achieve the system in a modular way.
