Based On RIA And ArcGIS For Server WebGIS Research And Implementation

WebGIS is the combination of Internet technology and geographic information system. Expand of GIS through the Web, the user can through the Internet browsing space data, thematic maps, and various spatial retrieval and analysis, so that the WebGIS become widely available.With the in-depth application of WebGIS in all walks of life, people put forward the higher request of the performance ability, interactive ability and the compatibility of the system with simplicity development.RIA application as a new generation of network technology with its powerful performance ability and a good user experience into the mainstream of WebGIS technology of client development.ESRI’s ArcGIS for Server at the same time as the enterprise solution can publish cache map service, by ArcGIS Viewer for Flex can interact directly with ArcGIS for Server Web services.This thesis is the use of RIA and ArcGIS for Server builds a WebGIS platform for the use of various business systems.Thesis first analyzed the various RIA technology and select the Flex as client implementation technology, and then analyzed the system structure of ArcGIS for Server.Secondly analyzes the WebGIS platform required functionality built in this thesis.And then introduced the Arc GIS for Server map service configuration, WebGIS platform client framework design and implementation.Finally will build WebGIS application to electricity production management system, to verify the compatibility of the platform and the rich interface display.This thesis has achieved the following results:1) Design and implement a JavaScript with Flex common management WebGIS map shows the client framework.Through the client framework, JavaScript developers can not only operate in Flex maps, and can be custom Flex components in style and events.2) using ArcGIS for Server set up a general WebGIS platform.By creating a map cache, optimize the configuration parameters, speed up the response speed of access map service, improve the performance of the whole system.3) Combining with the WebGIS platform, completed the railway the design and implementation of production management system.In the production management system, realized the users can customize types and properties of equipment management, realize the automation of the production plan management, realize the production task of real-time monitoring, realize the interface rich electronic map.
