In recent years,the reports of medical disputes are frequently showed up,and the relationship between doctors and patients is quite tense.According to the data released by the State Health Commission during the two sessions of 2016,there were 115,000 medical disputes in the country in 2015,a slight decrease than 2014.As the doctor-patient disputes are related to every household,the projection in the case showing a complex and diverse pattern,major disputes often become hot news.And public opinion caused by a great number of media reports also affects the public awareness of the relationship between doctors and patients to a certain extent.This paper takes media coverage as the breakthrough point and exploring the current situation of doctor-patient relationship,and the influence of media coverage on doctor-patient relationship.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the thesis is divided into four chapters: the first chapter is the characteristics of the current media coverage of medical disputes.This paper discusses the overall characteristics and trends presented in the dispute reports by TV,newspaper,network and other media in the current media forms from three aspects which are respectively the discourse changes in the reports of doctoral disputes,the perspective of reports on disputes between doctors and patients and the characteristics of different types of media reports on doctor-patient disputes;The second chapter is the public's attitude towards the doctor-patient relationship in the current media environment.The chapter expounds the basic understanding and emotional attitudes of the public to the doctor-patient relationship and the coverage of the doctor-patient disputes by the questionnaire survey from two aspects which are respectively the report condition of the public exposure to the relationship between doctors and patients and the public's attitudes towards doctor-patient relationship;The third chapter is the impact on the public of the media on the relationship between doctors and patients.This chapter is the coreof the paper.The chapter explore the effect of the current media environment on the public awareness of the relationship between doctors and patients using the questionnaire survey method from three aspects which are respectively the impact of the current media environment on public awareness of doctor-patient relationship,public comment on reports of current doctor-patient relationship and the guidance on the public of the media;The fourth chapter is the media's reporting strategy of doctor-patient disputes.This chapter makes some constructive recommendations for the media report how to play a positive role in the doctor-patient relationship.Media coverage affects the public awareness of the relationship between doctors and patients to a certain extent.The paper concludes that based on keeping the discourse's fair,the pursuit of facts' justice,the media can use a variety of forms of media coverage to create a public expression space for the public,do guidance effectively,enhance the social recognition of the medical industry,and construct rational public opinions between doctor-patient and promote the harmonious development of doctor-patient's relationship.
