With the development of the society, the relationship between doctors and patients isgradually undergoing a subtle change, the doctor no longer enjoys absolute authority andthe patient no longer exhibit absolute trust. The doctor-patient disputes occurred in recentyears increasingly upgrades the tension of the doctor-patient relationship. Today, there area lot of suspicion and physical abuses between doctors and patients, which remain associal problems. In the reports doctor-patient disputes, some media lack fair and thejournalistic professionalism. For the sake of sensationalism, some media do not payattention to scientific and rational balance, which intensifies the doctor-patient relationshipand reduces social function.The paper would discuss how media should report properly and carry forward socialfunction correctly. Based on the ethics of the prevailing international news reporters andnews reports professionalism theoretical paradigm, by restoring the "Top Tendoctor-patient events" reported the news text, the author tend to explore the agenda-settingcharacteristics in the doctor-patient relationship reports, analyze the roles that news mediashould act in the doctor-patient relationship, and find the reported depth, breadth andlimits in the doctor-patient relationship. So as to make rational exploration of the mediainvolved in issues related to health communication reports.As for the reports of patient disputes, the media should adhere to the principle ofseeking truth from facts, to maintain an objective and fair stance to ensure the balance ofthe reports adequately reflect the medical side, the views of patients and third-party. Inaddition, media reports should also be more focus on health communication strategy topromote universal access to health and the dissemination of scientific knowledge on thebasis of the traditional news media.
