At present, China is at a vital turning point, when various social contradictions show up. The problem of doctor-patient relationship is also most prominent, and it is detrimental to build a harmonious doctor-patient relationship. The disharmony doctor-patient relationships not only harm to patient but also harm doctor as well. The mistrust of doctor and patient is lead to doctors increase awareness of self protection, and increased patients’medical costs as well. It is retarding the development of medicine, and damages the fundamental interests of the patients, and damaging social harmony as well. So how to resolve the conflicts between doctors and patients is a comprehensive social issues, it will involved health care system, legal norms, hospital management, media and public, and doctors-patients themselves. One of the most remarkable things that is, with the development of information dissemination, the role of the media public is increasingly valued.People living in the mass media constructed pseudo-environment, the mass media through agenda-setting function to tell people to think about something, and affect the audience how to think as well. News reports not only present doctor-patient relationship, but also change the definition of the doctor-patient relationship into a public understanding, and provide the basic cognitive framework to audience, and it will become one of the important factors which affecting the audience psychology. Different from the other reports, audiences are more inclined to combine with their experience and feelings to interpret the doctor-patient relationship reports.This article focuses on news media dissemination, inheritance academic research results and collected the new ideas from broad sectors of society. Using framework theory of journalism and start with pseudo-environment and summarizes the characteristics of current media report about doctor-patient relationship. Then article followed by media agenda setting, media stand, media issues, the total amount of public opinion, report style, mode of discourse to analyze the report about doctor-patient relationship. And the article also summarized the China mass media characteristics on report about doctor-patient relationship, meanwhile the paper will identify the factors of the mass media on the doctor-patient relationship. At the same time, using the Xi’an city as example, with the method of questionnaire survey to research and analyze doctor-patient current situation. Using social science statistical software SPSS17.0to statistics and analysis on the data, explore the media reported on doctor-patient relationship.Finally, the article will give the recommendations for the problem of reports on the doctor-patient relationship. On the one hand, China’s mass media news must have a highly responsible attitude, and keep positive reporting basis on China medical system reform, and guide the doctor-patient relationship towards to harmony. On the other hand, should give the guide to the audience, to strengthen audience’s quality education, strengthen their awareness. Meanwhile, all levels of the media to set up crisis awareness and setting up the development of the crisis, the media must master their speaking right, lead public opinion and promote social harmonious development.
