Traditional antenna measurement system is based hardware and has minimal flexibility in radio receiver design.To overcome these shortcomings,an antenna measurement system based on digital IF receiver is realized in the platform of FPGA and computer,which has reusability and easy reconstruction in standardization platform.The main contents of this thesis are listed as follows:1)An antenna measurement system is proposed,which is based on the thought of software-defined radio and adopts the technology of digital IF and structure of dual channel coherent measurement.The features of this system and the requirements of digital IF receiver are analyzed.2)The architecture of digital IF receiver in antenna measurement system is designed.With modular design concepts,individual specificaitons and design criterias of different modules are made by evaluations on the system requirements.Key algorithms is designed and verified with MATLAB.Optimal configuration of the system design is achieved by optimizations of the parameters for best performance.3)The modules are simulated in module level and system level with MATLAB.The time stringent signal processing algorithms for digital IF receiver is designed with QUARTUS and implemented in FPGA.The ADC,DDR2 and high speed data transmission modules are also designed and implemented.Functionality of algorithms is verified with ModelSim and field tested with SignalTap ?.4)The LabVIEW platform and ActorFrame Work are adopted as the host computer development environment.The structure of software and digital signal process are implemented.Based on the results of system verification,the performance of system is evaluated.In this paper,an antenna measurement system with high cost performance and integration is realized.With the advantages of scalability,reusability and high test efficiency,the highly integrated system is applicable for measurement of antenna and channel characteristic parameter.
