China's outbound tourism for the first time exceeded billion times by 2014.China still maintains the world's largest outbound tourist source country, which spark a continuing climax of media reports on Chinese touristsDue to a variety of subjective and objective factors, reports on the same topic will appear different position and perspective, which would influence the audiences' interpretation of Chinese tourists with different cultural background. In view of this, this paper chooses 85 news from "People's Daily Overseas Edition" and "New York Times" as the research sample, using framework theory as theoretical basis,to do quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis.,Which aims to deconstruct the similarities and differences between the two news media, and summarize the reasons for the similarities and differences.Through the exploration of Chinese and the United States mainstream media reports on Chinese tourists' framework and strategy,I hope to give some suggestion on improving the content and quality of our tourist news reportsThe study found that People's Daily Overseas Edition and New York Times have a lot of disagreement over the reports of Chinese tourists.Under the report of People's Daily Overseas Edition,Chinese tourists not only boost Economic development, but also reasonable consumers; They not only comply with social order but also widely welcomed by destination countries.New York Times presenting the image of Chinese tourists is more complex, they are social order and cultural customs violators;they are both economic development contributors and saboteurs; They are both welcomed by the destination country and are also hated by the locals.
