Knowledge is power.In twenty-first Century,for the enterprise organization,the rise of knowledge economy and the rapid development of knowledge has become the most important factor of productions.For the individuals,knowledge is the source of wisdom.University Library,as the main auxiliary mechanism of teaching and research activities,is the knowledge storage and management center,is the main forces of knowledge service,the strength of knowledge service capability is directly related to the efficiency of the teaching and research in colleges and universities.Big data era is the era of knowledge and information explosion,all kinds of knowledge information filled with user's field of vision.It is difficult for users to effectively obtain what can meet the demand of knowledge,but also bring new opportunities and challenges for the library knowledge service.University libraries should seize the opportunity to make service innovation,service personnels must strain every nerve,provide efficient knowledge service to patrons,provide knowledge to meet the needs of patrons.On the basis of the studies of relevant scholars,the author analysed user characteristics and the connotation of knowledge service of university library,established knowledge service model that based on user demands of university library,and put forward the strategies with strong feasibility to enhance the level of university library knowledge service,has great significance to the development of university library in our country.This paper consists of six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part,the author discusses the research background,purpose,methods,meaning and innovations;The second chapter defines the related concepts,the literature reviews of the related research,and puts forward the knowledge service contents,the essence and purpose;The third chapter analysed the knowledge service mechanism and service processes,then proposed the model of university library knowledge service;The fourth chapter discusses library users and their needs of knowledge,established the knowledge service model that based on user demands;The fifth chapter elaborated the strategies for improving the ability of library knowledge service;The sixth chapter is the conclusions and prospects of the research.
