Investigation And Countermeasure Research On The Present Situation Of Knowledge Service Of University Library In Heilongjiang Province

In the era of knowledge economy, the development of society cannot do without knowledge. Knowledge has become a new point of economic growth, and more and more people realize the importance of knowledge. Both in theory and practice, knowledge service has attracted many experts and scholars attention. Especially the university library to important knowledge spreading mechanism and information resource center, knowledge service is more important. Knowledge service is a booster for the development of university library, it also deeply affect the development of the whole university. The development level of a university depends largely on the quality of the knowledge service in university library.At present, the domestic and foreign research on the university library knowledge services is very little, the depth and breadth of the research is not enough, and the combination of theory and practice is less. The research of knowledge service of university library in the local range is scarce. Based on this, the ten universities in Heilongjiang Province as an example, combined with the actual situation in Heilongjiang Province, the author launched an investigation and study on the university library knowledge service.Firstly, this paper combs the related theory basis of knowledge service, library knowledge service and knowledge service in university library; discusses the concept, characteristics, process of knowledge service, the difference and connection between the knowledge service and the information service; then discusses the content, function, characteristics of university library knowledge service and the advantage and necessity of carrying out the knowledge service. Secondly, targeted to select ten of Heilongjiang university library for the study, conduct research to its current state of knowledge services; research the development situation of Heilongjiang Province university library knowledge service with the method of network survey, and researchthe librarians’ cognition about library knowledge service, and the readers’ cognition, needs, satisfaction about library knowledge service with the method of questionnaire survey. Thirdly, according to the survey results, the author comprehensive analysis of the main problems and the existence insufficiency of current university library knowledge service in Heilongjiang Province. Finally, the author puts forward promotion strategy and method of the knowledge service in university libraries in Heilongjiang Province combined with the actual situation of Heilongjiang Province university libraries.
