The real-time transmission of high-resolution train monitoring information and accurately and highly redundant signal depend on highly reliable vehicle-ground wireless communication systems. LTE system has been identified as the direction of the development of the next generation metro vehicle communication systems with its significant high data transmission rate and low system delay.In this context, we analyzed the requirements of metro wireless transmission business, and the deficiencies of the existing technical system. Then, we analyzed and compared the technical feature of TD-LTE, focusing on the train-ground communication systems based on LTE, such as network architecture and core technologies. Discussed the evolution route from the WLAN (802.11g) and TETRA to LTE, and proposed to merge WLAN (802.11n? 802.11ac) train-ground wireless transmission platform, which could meet the current metro station (dispatching, CBTC, PIS, video monitoring, etc.) train-ground wireless transmission requirements. On this basis, we analyzed the empirical engineering case (18 line of Chengdu metro), including residential area, the TD-LTE band selection, inference and anti-interference, etc. In the end, combined with the planning of Chengdu metro, proposed the existing car to wireless reformation, new lines to the plans of special wireless system construction and the tram the aspects of overall suggestions.Through theoretical analysis and actual situation analysis, the study is meaningful to the development, application of subway vehicle wireless communications. Through analysis, we can more effectively use the precious spectrum resources, and guide the applications in subway. By analyzing current and potential various types of vehicle wireless communication requirements, we propose a reasonable TD-LTE based broadband wireless network to carry the above requirements. With the construction and planning in Chengdu metro line, we propose the preliminary solution to the construction of Chengdu metro line, including technology selection, band selection, network architecture, interference analysis.
