Over the last decades,New Media with the continuous innovation and development of technology,impact on the traditional media market,causing a huge of lifestyle and hobby changes in human beings for approaching the public information.The changes in market’structure showing spiral development,the media economics called if" media competition spiral model."Metro newspapers, in this information explosion era,come with the rapid development of science and technology,heterogeneous as a new method of newspaper.This is how the traditional newspapers to deal with the current fierce competition in the media market,it involved with new innovative method, derived under the market’s diversification.Metro newspapers has the conception of"fast newspaper,as a newsprint,it is required to declared and registered in news administration and management department.It has public Issues, mostly issues are daily or weekly forms.regularly distributed to the common public. Content of free newspapers is broad of flexibility and freedom,the spread of the daily news and advertising content,attempting to expand its influence in readers,thereby enhancing the potential advertising value in the target population,for profit purposes.This study-paper will apply the multi-communication theory, economics, marketing theory,management theory.Take the Metro newspapers in mainland China as a case for study purpose,through the "individual" case to study the "whole" trends. For the study of free newspapers,we must see the" commonality"that follows the universal free newspaper operations,in the meanwhile,pay attention to the"personality",emphasizing the unique situation in Mainland China.
