With the rapid development of information technology and engineering technology, a lot of E-documents of construction projects emerge. The management of project archives has been transformed from the traditional paper file to the model in which the electronic file and paper file co-exist. It has been an important subject of archives management department to collect, assort, file and check the documents produced during project construction, accelerate the development of information resources of E-documents, meeting the various demands of information utilization, and optimizing the social sharing on the information resources of E-documents.In recent years, Chengdu Metro Co., Ltd. has been undertaking many metro construction projects with large-scale and wide influence and producing a lot of archives every day. The increasing archives of metro projects have been a challenge to archives management department. With the intensive works and difficult management of the archives, the traditional manual management can’t follow the development of the company. In order to standardize the documents assorting and filing of Chengdu metro construction projects, unify the standards for acceptance of the documents of metro construction projects, and eventually establish the complete, accurate and systemic construction archives, the superiors and research department has proposed to solve the problems above with information management system.For the purpose, this dissertation studies the theory of projects archives management, the theory of software engineering, the theory of database, system development technology and system test technology, then accomplishes the analysis, design, programming and test of The Archives Management System of Construction Projects of Chengdu Metro.The system adopts C/S model, in which the archives administrators do the uploading, editing and modifying of the archives since the data is massive and has higher demand of system running environment. This model makes higher efficiency and easier maintenance and extension.The system is developed and realized based on.NET platform. It adopts the relational database--Sqlserver to manage the data access and integrates the most advanced image processing, OCR, fulltext retrieval, multi-format browse and double-layer PDF.Accomplishment of this system will reduce the workload of archives management department greatly, promote the capability of data-sharing and the secondary development, and eventually improve the information management level of the company. |
