| Indonesia is a Bhineka Tunggal Ika country whose meaning varies from one edge to another.Indonesia has many tribes,and culture one of them is the immigrant culture of the Chinese people which was later called by the Chinese community,they have been acculturated with Indonesian society long before Indonesia's independence.After Indonesia's independence,even the Chinese community had established the Indonesian-Chinese press in the form of print media.In 2000 Metro TV,the first national television station in Indonesia,focused on broadcasting news,one of which was in Chinese language.Metro Xinwen is also the first Chinese language news program in Indonesia that is present on the Indonesian viewers screen.Chinese language used in Metro Xinwen shows is equipped with Indonesian subtitles,making it easier for Indonesian people who cannot speak Chinese to watch this show and learn about Chinese language and culture.In the beginning of its appearance in 2000,Metro Xinwen focused on the metro Xinwen regular which presented straight news to news from China.As time went on,there were also a number of programs such as xinwen power talk which featured inspirational programs,xinwen plus and xinwen tasty healty which presented light news about health and lifestyle.One of important celebration in Chinese culture,Chinese Spring Festival took its own place in the Metro Xinwen show.News about Chinese preparations in a number of regions in Indonesia,celebration traditions of culture,to compulsory culinary when the Chinese New Year is presented in its entirety.In this thesis will examine focus how 2018 Chinese New Year in Metro TV Metro Xinwen is framing and comparative with other television is CNN Indonesia.The aim is to find out what the content selection process and point of view in Spring Festival 201 8 news are.Interviews and watching 2018 Chinese Impressions are the methods used in this study.With the method used to achieve the results that the content that was broadcast was collected together with the production team and producer.The theme raised from the point of view of"Peace for the Nation" also reflects the Indonesian nation whose Unity in Diversity differs in one diversity,so that Indonesian people in general can also enjoy and know what Chinese New Year celebrations are like.In conclusion,Metro Xinwen as the first news television show that uses Chinese language,broadcasts diverse perspectives on the Chinese New Year,so that Indonesian people and can understand and learn various traditions at Chinese New Year and also at the same time can learn about language and culture. |
