With the rapid development of wireless communication technologies, wireless sensor networks has brought great convenience to people's lives. Wherein, ZigBee is a low-rate, low-cost and low-power wireless communications technology. It has been widely used in wireless sensor networks. Currently, ZigBee wireless sensor network has three forms of topologies: star structure, cluster tree structure and mesh structure. In actual use, there are varying degrees of problems in the three topologies wireless sensor networks. Although the structure of star and cluster tree is simple, the system is not stable enough; though the system of stable mesh is stable, the structure is complicated. So all of these three wireless sensor networks can't maximize the signal transmission of “accurate, reliable, non-redundant”.For existing problems of ZigBee wireless sensor network, we propose ZigBee wireless sensor networks based on rectangular configuration. When a problem occurs in one routing node network, such structure network does not occur paralysis phenomenon like the whole star network or a layer of cluster tree network, thus improving the rate of transmission data; Rectangular with respect of mesh network is relatively simple. This network uses fixed networking technology, each wireless data acquisition node has a corresponding coordinate. In the transmission, it is possible to accurately determine the specific location of the operation of the node. Finally, connecting rectangular structure's characteristics with mesh structure's characteristics, we sum up AODVrs network algorithm. At the same time, we produce a simple wireless sensor network model for rectangular structure of the network applied CC2430 module, implement and verify the network advantages and robustness of the rectangular structure network.
