To get the temperature of frozen soil area along the Qinghai-Tibet rialway, that always is a foundation task for concerned people, but mainly rely on traditional artificial monitoring method for a long time, this method is easily effected by severe environment, the accuracy and the real-time of data cannot be guaranteed.In this paper,the background project is the Beiluhe segment of Qinghai-Tibet railway for nebula control WSN distributed temperature monitoring system, the system based on WSN technology nodes will be distributed in about 2km length?1km wide and too rugged to visibility of 25 spotting and 37 measuring channel to monitor,using ad-hoc network technology and high accuracy multi-channel data collect technology,converged into sub-center(gateway) that based on Android. Due to the early nodes using the original ZigBee router protocol, it's decision mechanism of memory failure nodes often made the temporarily unable to connect nodes judges for permanent failure node and be excluded. Be affected with the traffic and weather, nodes can not access the net is inevitable, resulting in over a period of time after the operation, the number of net device gradually reduced.This paper given the corresponding solutions for the routing problems according to the practical application. Firstly, introduced the overall design framework of WSN distributed system based on the practical requirement, and briefly described the each modules, designed the hardware of routing nodes and had a reasonable planning for them. Because WSN collection system adopted by the ZigBee protocol that only support dormancy mechanism for terminal node, but routing nodes need to always stay in work mode, which cannot meet the low power requirement of system long-term monitoring, the author mainly studied ZigBee routing algorithm, sleep and wake up mechanism of WSN network,design and implement a routing establish mechanism that hierarchical awaken?access network step by step, adopt the method of timing chip and timer interrupt to switch of the work mode of nodes, implemented the dormancy and timing awaken of whole network, solved the problem of the routing node cannot sleep, reduced the energy consumption of the network. Aiming at the problems of sensor nodes enter net not complete and routing maintenance, used the routing optimization method based on association table, solved the problem of routing instability caused by incomplete data acquisition. In view of the defect that network nodes associated situation was not intuitive, the method that based on neighbor table was adopted to get routing information and node relationship, which made the management of network nodes and data analysis more convenient.This article revolves around the routing algorithm of ZigBee protocol carried out an in-deep theoretical research and through the test of practical.Improved the stability of the network and reduced the consumption, has a practical significance and application value. The improved routing algorithm had running a year in the Beiluhe test section of Qinghai-Tibet railway show that compared with the previous routing algorithm the rate of join network increased more than 5 times.
