With the rapid development of computer technology, computer simulation technology is widely used in various fields, especially in the manufacturing industry production line design. Virtual reality technology is playing an important role in saving manpower resources, shortening the product development cycle and improving product quality. In traditional manufacturing process, the design and commissioning of production line consumes a large amount of manpower, which increases the product cost. Virtual reality simulation technology can solve these problems. With the development of computer technology, the application of technology is gradually enlarged.A whole manufacturing system of production line is usually a discrete event dynamic system. Some manufacturing system production line's information can be get before production, such as the number of raw materials in the production plan, the number of workers and production plan, etc. But some information is strong random, such as the arrival time of raw material, failure rate of equipment, etc. Because this information can response the real-time production status of manufacturing system, it leads to the problem which is that the production tasks can be completed according to the plan in all manufacturing system production line. According to the system information and production data, we use virtual reality technology for production line modeling and simulation, which can predict the performance of the system and reduce the uncertainty in the process of production. And it provides basis for the design analysis and optimization of manufacture production line, make the design for production line more reasonable and scientific.In this paper, we take 3C industry of the mobile phone shell stamping spraying a ssembly line as research object. The paper explain the design of the conventional production methods and research content, design principle, simulation steps, how to use the Petri net(PN) to establish the discrete event dynamic system model and complete the conversion between model and 3DCreate simulation model. Using 3DCreate to simulate the production environment, we establish mobile phone shell assembly line by collecting simulation data information. And we complete the simulation setup, the analysis of the results and the establishment of equipment model base for production. The research estimates the output of the production line scientifically, finds the unreasonable design of the production line and revises them in order to make a excellent design plan to help manufacturers formulate management solution.
