The production line is the most basic carrier of manufacture enterprise carrying on the production activities, a rational design of production line may reduce enterprise's cost of investment and the investment risk greatly. In order to plan a good production line scheme, the traditional design method already could not meet the need. Along with the computer simulation technology's maturity, it may utilize the method of object-oriented simulation to conduct the research and optimize the production line, and obtains the best single machine match of production line finally. In this paper, for the study object,it chooses a new production line of canned fish of a canning factory in Guangzhou, using computer simulation technology, it foresees performance factors like production line's productivity, the bottleneck, balanced question as well as various single machine' performance indices and so on before the production line puting into the manufacture, provides the reference for the final production line design.This article first obtains production line's flow and various single machine parameter using the conventional design, afterward,in order to direct-viewing observe the entire production line's movement process, to be advantageous of finding the problem, improving question, this article uses the discrete event modeling technology to bulid the model, to simulate, to research the abnormity pot production line. It uses ESHLEP-N to establish the production line model, and then transforms the ESHLEP-N model to the Extendsim corresponding module and establishes production line which face the simulation visualization model.Through the movement simulation, confirm production line of depending on the experience or the theoretical calculation, and analyzes the entire production line model after the simulation result, revise production line working procedure or designated the parameter of the working procedure, circulates in turn, only until the establishment model which meets the requirement.Through to the model test, the simulation, each kind of parametric analysis, has discovered the production line"the bottleneck"and the certain equipment that the utilization rate is lower. After optimization, the sterilizeing equipment reduces from 6 to 4, the buffer capability reduces from 400 to 120, simultaneously the process time of other working procedure has also made the corresponding adjustment. After adjustment, the production line's daily output is 95760 pots, Enhanced 5.37% relatively;the circulation time reduces to 3629.57s, decreased 1.66% relatively ; The efficiency of the production line is controled97% above;The imbalance ratios of the production line reduces from 3.57% to 2.49%;various equipment utilization rate greatly has the enhancement. The production line has been in operation movement, after the confirmation, the movement was good.
